Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage sessions are different than spa massage. A first time client can expect to complete a very thorough intake form detailing current and past health complaints. The massage session will retain a large relaxation element but will include advanced techniques to be used for pain and chronic health issues.

Drawing from an extensive skill base our therapeutic massage practitioner can respond to acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions affecting people of all ages to alleviate pain and bring harmony and balance to the body so it stays continuously in a state of wellness.
His certifications include Cranial Sacral Therapy, (unwinding the low back, sacrum and coccyx), Acupressure, Reflexology, Polarity, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy (utilizing essential oils) Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian Massage), Trigger Point Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage, Geriatric Massage and Chair Massage.

A therapeutic massage practitioner will see a client very frequently for the first few weeks or months. This might include half hour massages three times a week, or weekly hour massages for a couple of months. Advanced techniques such as deep tissue massageand trigger point therapy may be used as called for by the individual client’s needs.
